City of Bellevue Officials Appointed to Nebraska Diplomat Program

The City of Bellevue is pleased to announce that three top City Officials have been appointed as “Nebraska Diplomats” by the Nebraska Department of Economic Development. Bellevue Mayor Rita Sanders, City Administrator Dan Berlowitz and Assistant City Administrator Larry Burks have accepted appointments to a three year term to this position.

 

As a Nebraska Diplomat, Mayor Sanders, Mr. Berlowitz and Mr. Burks will be tasked with continuing the mission of the program which is, “to help build the Nebraska economy by supporting the Nebraska Department of Economic Development's efforts to assist the growth and expansion of existing business, attract new business to the State and improve Nebraska's business climate and competitiveness.

 

Mr. Burks is looking forward to working with other Nebraska Diplomats to represent the State of Nebraska and the City of Bellevue to personally contact business leaders with the goal of enticing them in establishing or expanding their business in the State of Nebraska. Burks states, “I am very excited to be a part of the Diplomats team and excited to know I could be called on at any time to help promote the best assets Nebraska has to offer.”
