Weather permitting, starting Tuesday, August 26, 2025, traffic on 36th Street will shift to new pavement between Platteview Road and Birchwood Drive as part of the 36th Street improvement project in Bellevue.
In addition, segments of Schneekloth Road and Spring Boulevard will be closed for construction beginning Tuesday, August 26, 2025. Schneekloth Road will close from the intersection of 36th Street to 34th Street. Spring Boulevard will be closed from the intersection of 36th Street to 35th Street. Access to properties will be maintained throughout construction. The closures are expected to last through November 2025.
The 36th Street improvement project is anticipated to be complete late summer 2026.
Motorists are reminded to slow down, avoid distracted driving and give workers space in the construction zone.
