EPA is conducting a Remedial Investigation and Feasibility Study at the old Carriage Cleaners site on the northwest corner of W 22nd Avenue and Franklin St. The investigation began in fall 2024 with the first of three scheduled soil sampling events completed the week of May 5th, 2025. The next two events are scheduled for summer and fall of 2025 and will be followed by a multi-year investigation to characterize the full nature and extent of the contamination in groundwater. This data will then be used to select an appropriate cleanup remedy to ensure the site is protective in the long term.
