Boards & Commissions
The members of the boards and commissions for the City of Bellevue are appointed by the Mayor with the advice and consent of a majority of the City Council. Members serve in a voluntary capacity and do not receive compensation. A letter of interest with resumé attached may be submitted to receive consideration for a board or commission appointment.
The Board of Adjustment is a quasi-judicial body that hears appeals for variances from the zoning regulations.

The Planning Commission has the duty to make and adopt plans for the physical development of the city and within 2 miles of the city.
