City of Bellevue Holiday Hours, Trash Schedule and Fireworks Ordinance

Bellevue City Offices will be closed on Tuesday, January 1, 2019 in observance of the New Year’s Day Holiday. Additionally, City Offices will be closing at 3:00pm on Monday, December 31, 2018. The Bellevue Public Library will be following the same schedule. As always Bellevue's Public Safety personnel will continue to operate around the clock to protect Bellevue citizens. Please call 911 if you have an emergency at any time!

Papillion Sanitation will also be closed on New Year’s Day. Tuesday through Friday residential routes will be delayed one day this week.  Friday routes will be serviced on Saturday.  Monday routes will be running regular schedule.

Christmas Trees may be disposed of through January 11th at the Cedar Island Road Tree Dump location during daylight hours. The Tree Dump is located at the gated entrance just north of 8902 Cedar Island Road, intersecting at Rose Lane. Please remove all ornaments, decorations, and plastic if bagged for transport, before disposing the trees.

The Bellevue Police Department reminds Bellevue citizens that fireworks can only be discharged in the city limits of Bellevue from 9:00pm on December 31st to 12:30am on January 1st and it’s NEVER legal nor safe to discharge firearms as a means of celebration!

The City of Bellevue would like to wish everyone a Happy and Safe New Year!
