Bellevue Public Works Department Announces Eastbound Capehart Road West of 25th Street to Close for Repairs

The Bellevue Public Works Department has announced that the eastbound lanes of Capehart Road between 28th Avenue and 25th Street will be closed beginning Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at 9:00 a.m.  Through traffic should utilize an alternate route.    This temporary closure is needed to make emergency repairs to the concrete pavement within this area. A void has been discovered underneath the pavement and the length of the closure will depend on the extent of the damage.

Additionally, asphalt paving operations will begin Tuesday, July 19th on the inside lane of Capehart Road between 25th Street and Fort Crook Road.  Motorists are advised to exercise caution in this area, as truck traffic will be entering and exiting the construction zone.  This work area will include the intersection of 25th Street and Capehart Road.
