The City of Bellevue and our partners at Papillion Sanitation would like to remind Bellevue residents that Yard Waste Season ends in Bellevue on Thursday, November 30, 2023. During yard waste season, brown yard waste carts may be used for yard waste only. Residents may also set out an unlimited number of brown bio bags of yard waste as long as the brown cart is also at the curb. Please do not place other items in your brown cart prior to November 30, as contents of your brown cart and brown bio bags are used for compost.
During the months of December through March, the compost facility does not accept additional material. Therefore, from November 30 until March 31, your brown cart may be used for landfill trash. After November 30, all items, including brown bio bags, must fit in the cart.
