The City of Bellevue's Public Works Department has announced that Lueder Construction will be tapping into the water main that will require that Avery Road be closed from Galvin Road to Michael Street. Avery Road will be closed beginning Wednesday, June 6, 2018 until Wednesday, June 13, 2018 (weather permitting). Barricades and detour signs will be placed by the contractor and must remain in place until the work is complete. Homeowners along the route should still have access to their properties.
The Bellevue Public Works Department would like to remind the public not to move or otherwise tamper with barricades or other warning devices. They are the primary mechanism for identifying potentially unsafe conditions. As applicable, please advise others of the upcoming work and the need to exercise due care when in areas near or adjacent to the construction areas and activities.
