The Bellevue Public Works Department has announced that nighttime work will begin on Cornhusker Road the evening of Wednesday, June 6th. Concrete street repairs will be taking place between 15th Street and the southbound ramps from the Kennedy Expressway. While Cornhusker Road will remain open to traffic, one lane at a time will be closed for concrete repairs. Additionally, one of the double left turn lanes on either the northbound or southbound exit ramp from the Kennedy Expressway will be closed. The contractor will place signs and cones as necessary to direct traffic. Traffic restrictions will begin at 7:00 p.m. each evening, and barricades will be removed no later than 6:00 a.m. the next morning. Traffic restrictions are expected to occur each evening through Thursday, June 14th.
