City of Bellevue Update on Paradise Lake Demolition:
The demolition of homes in Paradise Lake, that were destroyed by the 2019 floods, is set to begin Monday, April 27, 2020. The Bellevue City Council approved the bid from Anderson Excavating at the April 21, 2020 City Council meeting. The City of Bellevue has received approval from FEMA to proceed with the demolition process and the greenlight has been given to proceed with this process. Given the number of homes set to be demolished, the demolition process will take place over several weeks.
