Cart Delivery is Underway for the City of Bellevue's New Trash and Recycling Program

The delivery of trash, recycling, and yard waste carts for the City of Bellevue’s new trash and recycling program is ongoing throughout Bellevue neighborhoods.  The delivery process will take the entire month of April to complete in advance of the new program which begins on May 1, 2018.

Multiple crews with pick up trucks and trailers are working to distribute the carts.

The crews are delivering carts based on residential trash collection day, starting with Monday routes.  Once all carts are delivered to Monday routes, they will begin working the Tuesday collection routes, and so on until all routes are complete.

Once the Monday routes are complete, it will be posted on yourcartplaysapart.com.  Residents should not worry that they have been missed until it is posted that all routes for their collection day are complete.

Separate crews will be delivering trash, recycling, and yard waste carts, so residents will not receive all of their carts at once, and may not even receive them all on the same day.  As a reminder, trash carts are blue, recycling are green, and yard waste are brown.

Any residents who feel that their cart needs to be exchanged for a different size may call Papillion Sanitation Customer Service at 402-346-7800 and they will take your information.  Carts will not be exchanged until all carts are delivered.

Residents should continue to use their old trash cans until the first week of May.  The new carts are designed specifically for new trucks that will begin service on May 1.
