***11/15/2023 Update....Not sure where the miscommunication came from but this project has started a day earlier than originally scheduled, probably to take advantage of the great weather. After some follow up this morning the representatives at the railroad said this project will be completed by the end of the day on Thursday, November 16th so the road should be back open by Friday, November 17th. *****
The City of Bellevue Public Works Department has been asked by BNSF Railroad to close the roads leading up to the rail crossing at Harlan Lewis Road,starting at 7am on Thursday, November 16th through 5pm on Friday, November 17th.
This closure is necessary so BNSF can make repairs to the railroad crossing in that area. There will be no access for vehicular traffic during this time and traffic will be advised to use the Kennedy Freeway as the included map details. Road Closure and Detour signs have been posted in the affected areas including the onramps and exits to the Kennedy Freeway.
