Portions of Giles Road to be Closed Next Week for Pavement Repairs

The City of Bellevue's Public Works Department has announced that Giles Road between 42nd Street and 36th Street is scheduled to close next week for pavement repairs.  The area to be repaired is just west of the intersection of 36th Street and Giles Road.  The road closure is scheduled to begin Monday, March 13th, weather permitting.  The road should reopen to traffic by the end of the day, Sunday, March 19th.  Signs will be put in place by the contractor.

The Bellevue Public Works Department would like to remind the public not to move or otherwise tamper with barricades or other warning devices.  They are the primary mechanism for identifying potentially unsafe conditions.  As applicable, please advise others of the upcoming work and the need to exercise due care when in areas near or adjacent to the construction areas and activities.  If you have any questions, please call the Public Works Department at 402-293-3025.
