Detective Michael Holm is Recognized as Sarpy County Crimestoppers Officer of the Year from the Bellevue Police Department

The City of Bellevue would like to congratulate Detective Michael Holm for his recognition as the Sarpy County Crimestoppers Officer of the Year from the Bellevue Police Department at a luncheon held on April 26 at the Sarpy County Sheriff's Office.  Detective Holm joined Police Officers Brian Malone from Papillion and Jaime Brown of La Vista as well as Sarpy County Sheriff's Investigator Matt Barrall in being honored at this year's ceremony.

Detective Holm is a 17 year veteran of the Bellevue Police Department.  Prior to that, he worked 5 years as a Deputy Sheriff with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office.  Detective Holm has been in the General Investigations Unit as a detective since June of 2014. Detective Holm was recognized by the Sarpy County Crimestoppers for his consistent desire to go above and beyond what is called upon him with his investigations, and his willingness to assist other detectives on cases. These attributes were evident in a couple of cases last summer where Detective Holm spent hours of time investigating and obtaining evidence in conjunction with other jurisdictions to solve some theft cases that were popping up around the area.

Congratulations to Detective Holm and the award winners from Sarpy County. Thank you for all you do to keep Bellevue and Sarpy County safe!
