Here is an update on the Road Conditions in the City of Bellevue as of 11:30am on Monday, January 16th from the Bellevue Public Works Department:
The Bellevue Public Works Department is reporting that the main thoroughfares in Bellevue are mostly just wet but there are definitely some slick spots so motorists are still urged to use extreme caution if travel is needed. City Crews are currently treating the neighborhoods and paying close attention to regular trouble spots such as circles, bridges and overpasses. Please be especially careful on untreated areas such as driveways and sidewalks which remain very slick this morning.
Also, please remember that trash service in Bellevue will be pushed back one day this week due to the storm and the residential road conditions.
Although City of Bellevue Offices and the Bellevue Public Library are closed today in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day Holiday, the Bellevue Public Works Department will continue to monitor the weather situation throughout the day and will be prepared if temperatures drop below freezing again this evening as forecasted. The City of Bellevue's Police and Fire Departments will also continue to operate 24 hours a day during this time. If you have an emergency please call 911!
