Some Bellevue residents displaced by the flood may be able to visit their homes starting Wednesday, March 20th

The safety of the public’s homes and/or businesses impacted by the flood is a major priority of the City of Bellevue. While water has stopped flowing into the flood zone, much of the area is still at least partially submerged. There are many post flood dangers to consider and each structure will need to be inspected prior to re-entry.

City officials have been working diligently with the ownership of Green Acers and our Permits / Inspections Department to develop an organized system to grant residents safe access to their homes. We anticipate a limited number of residents of Green Acres to be allowed access tomorrow, 3-20-19. Initial access will be limited to the homes that were not touched by floodwaters, which are being externally inspected. Residents of Green Acres and Paradise Lake should follow Bellevue Police and City of Bellevue Facebook and Twitter accounts for the most up to date information. Those sites can also be located by visiting the Bellevue Police and City of Bellevue websites.
