Public Works Department Issues Update on Lane Closures at 10th Street & Cornhusker Road

The City of Bellevue's Public Works Department has provided the following update on the lane closures near 10th and Cornhusker Road:

Intersection and signal modifications are expected to continue at the intersection of 10th Street & Cornhusker Road.  Currently, the westbound outside lane of Cornhusker Road is closed as construction continues on the north side of the intersection.  Construction is expected to continue in the median area beginning Monday, May 9th at which time, the current lane closure will be reopened and the inside eastbound and westbound lanes will be closed.  This phase of construction is expected to last about a week with all through lanes being reopened by Monday, May 16th.  During this period, left turns onto and from 10th Street will not be allowed.  Motorists are encouraged to find alternate routes to their destinations.  The City recognizes the inconvenience these types of construction projects bring and appreciates our citizens’ patience while improvements are being constructed.  For more information please contact the City of Bellevue Public Works Department at 402-293-3025.
