Portions of the Keystone Trail near Hastings Banner Park to be Temporarily Closed Beginning November 18th

The City of Bellevue has been notified that portions of the Keystone Trail at the Copper Creek location which is located on east side of Big Papio Creek near Hastings Banner Park will be temporarily closed for the removal of City of Omaha’s existing interceptor sewer creek (Copper Creek) crossing pipe. This portion of the Keystone Trail is expected to close to pedestrian and bicycle traffic starting on Monday, November 18th for approximately four weeks.

The good news is that this is expected to be one of the last phases of this City of Omaha Sewer Interceptor Project with the current estimated final completion of overall sewer project is Dec. 27th. The City of Bellevue will provide updates once the trail is open to the public once again.
