Monday, January 9th is National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day

Today is National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day. This day is dedicated to show support to the approximately 900,000 sworn law enforcement officers serving in the United States! Mayor Sanders and all of us at Bellevue City Hall will especially would like to recognize and thank the 95 men and women who bravely serve as police officers in Bellevue, protecting and serving our great community every day!

Here are a few ways that you can help celebrate National Law Enforcement Day:

* Wear Blue Clothing in support of Law Enforcement

* Send a card of support to your local Police Department

* Share a positive story or experience on social media

* Display a Blue Light at your your home to support the police

* If you see a police officer, thank them for their service
