Hawkins Construction Co. in collaboration with the City of Omaha, City of Bellevue and Benesch will be performing continuous 24-hour / 7-days per week construction activities at the project site at Hastings Banner Park. These activities are a part of a City of Omaha, Copper Creek Sewer Interceptor Relocation project and all necessary permits have been acquired. The extended hours are necessary due to recent weather conditions. Those within the area of the project site can expect heighted activities of heavy construction equipment, heighten noise levels due to excavation for pipe installation, and occasional road closures and detours. The extended hours of construction is expected to be completed by April 1, 2024.
