Detective Ryan Roskey Recognized as Bellevue Police Department's  Officer of the Year

On February 25, 2017, Detective Ryan Roskey was recognized by the Bellevue Police Department as Officer of the Year for 2016.

Det. Roskey was hired as a Bellevue Police Officer in 2010. Prior to being selected as a Bellevue Police Officer, Det. Roskey lived in Jacksonville, Arkansas where he was enlisted with the United States Air Force. His career with the Bellevue Police Department has primarily been serving as a patrol officer. In March of 2016, Det. Roskey was selected as a new Detective in the Family Crimes Unit.

Det. Roskey was selected as the Officer of the Year by his peers in the Department. He was recognized for his overall body of work and performance during 2016 which was noted to include his continued outstanding work ethic and steady persistence which led to the successful conclusion of several criminal investigations. Det. Roskey was also selected to serve on the South Area Metro Swat Team on February 26, 2017 as well.
