City of Bellevue Solid Waste Collection Day May Be Changing For Many Residents

The City of Bellevue and Papillion Sanitation have announced that effective the first week of August, many trash, recycling, and yard waste collection routes will be changing.  Nearly 10,000 residents will see a change in their service day.

The City of Bellevue has been growing, and with recent annexations bringing nearly 4,000 new residents into the City, the collection routes are being updated to improve service.  Residents affected by the change should receive a postcard in the mail informing them of their new service day.  Residents who are uncertain may also visit www.YourCartPlaysAPart.com to view the new collection map and search for their address.

The new routes will go into effect the week of August 3, 2020.  Some residents will have two pick ups during the first week of August to ensure that no one has to go for more than a week without trash, recycling and yard waste service.

The routing change does not affect cost to customers or service to those who receive walk-up service.

For questions, residents are urged to visit www.YourCartPlaysA Part.com or contact Papillion Sanitation at 402-346-7800.
