City of Bellevue Included in Winter Storm Warning

The most recent update from the NWS-Omaha is still calling for some significant snowfall in our area this evening and overnight. Sarpy County remains in a Winter Storm Warning until 9am on Wednesday Morning.

The City of Bellevue Streets Department is asking all Bellevue Citizens to remove all cars from the streets from 7pm this evening (Feb.19th) through 5pm on Wednesday, Feb. 20th. This will greatly assist City crews in their attempts to keep the roads plowed and passable during the storm and through the completion of plow back operations.

The Bellevue Public Works Department and the Bellevue Police Department are advising Bellevue residents to stay off of the roads as much as possible during this storm. This will help keep you safe and allow the snow removal crews and emergency personnel more room to do their jobs.

Additionally, the Streets Department asks residents to consider starting a couple of hours late on Wednesday, if your workplace allows it, to allow crews more time to finish clearing the thoroughfares and residential streets that may be impacted by a heavy snow.

As a reminder, the Bellevue Public Library will be closing at 6pm on Tuesday evening due to the weather.

The City of Bellevue appreciates your help and patience as we work to clear another snow event. Thank you to all of the Public Works and Emergency Personnel who work to make this possible!

Thank you to the NWS-Omaha for the graphics!
