City of Bellevue hosts City Officials from Japan
The City of Bellevue was fortunate to host a group of visitors from Japan on Tuesday afternoon at Bellevue City Hall.Two city council members, a city administrator and a city employee representing the Japanese Cities of Urasoe City,Okinawa City, Ginowan City and Yokosuka were in Bellevue town seek input from community leaders, Offutt AFB representatives and State representatives on community relations with a military base. All of these cities have nearby military bases and the delegation is looking for ways to improve their relationships in Japan. The delegation chose Bellevue for the visit because they have heard that Offutt AFB has the best reputation for civilian and military cooperation!!
