Flood update and pictures for Monday, July 1, 2024, at 8pm from the City of Bellevue and the Papio- Missouri River NRD:
- A flood warning for the Missouri River remains in effect until Tuesday evening.
- Missouri River at Omaha has dropped to minor flood stage. The river is projected to drop below flood stage tomorrow evening, depending on precipitation over the next 48 hours.
- The Papio NRD has removed their flood walls along the BNSF tracks at Hwy 75 in Bellevue.
- The City of Bellevue, Offutt AFB, the Army Corps of Engineers, and the Papio-Missouri Natural Resource District (NRD) are continuing to monitor the water levels and the status of the levee system.
