Flood Waters Continue to Recede at Haworth Park Despite Morning Rain

City of Bellevue Flood Update - 8:00pm on Monday, July 1, 2024

Flood update and pictures for Monday, July 1, 2024, at 8pm from the City of Bellevue and the Papio- Missouri River NRD:

  • A flood warning for the Missouri River remains in effect until Tuesday evening.
  • Missouri River at Omaha has dropped to minor flood stage.  The river is projected to drop below flood stage tomorrow evening, depending on precipitation over the next 48 hours.
  • The Papio NRD has removed their flood walls along the BNSF tracks at Hwy 75 in Bellevue.
  • The City of Bellevue, Offutt AFB, the Army Corps of Engineers, and the Papio-Missouri Natural Resource District (NRD) are continuing to monitor the water levels and the status of the levee system.
