A few updates this morning from Sarpy County Emergency Management and the City of Bellevue:

  • The Missouri River remains in moderate flood stage this morning. The forecast is still calling for the river to crest this afternoon in our area.
  • Significant impacts to our communities along the Missouri and Platte Rivers are not expected.
  • Dry Conditions are forecast for the remainder of the weekend before chances of rain reenter the forecast on Monday and into next week.
  • The City of Bellevue, Offutt AFB, the Army Corps of Engineers and the Papio-Missouri Natural Resource District (NRD) are continuing to monitor the water levels and the status of the levee system.
  • Due to recent storms in our area, the City of Bellevue Public Works Department will open the City's Tree Dump for extended hours on Saturday, June 29, 2024. The Bellevue Tree Dump will now be open from 8am to 5pm on Saturday, June 29, 2024 for residents to dispose of storm related tree debris.
