City of Bellevue Cancels Annual Memorial Day Ceremony at Bellevue Cemetery Due to Coronavirus Concerns

The City of Bellevue’s Memorial Day Ceremony at the Bellevue Cemetery has been canceled amid the Coronavirus Pandemic. This annual event, which is honorably coordinated by the Veterans of Foreign War (FW) Post 10785, was originally scheduled to be held on Monday, May 25, 2020 in honor of the men and women who have courageously fought for our country throughout our history.

While this decision was made in line with Governor Ricketts latest Directed Health Measure and due to the concern of exposing residents and visitors to possible contamination, Bellevue Mayor Rusty Hike realizes how important our Veterans are to the Bellevue/Offutt Community and the City of Bellevue is putting together a Veteran's Tribute Video that will run throughout the week of Memorial Day on BTV-Channel 17 and all of our social media and YouTube channels. Please submit a picture of your favorite Veteran and include the person's name, rank & any other relevant information to btv@bellevue.net or text it to 402-515-6259.

Thank you in advance for your help the City of Bellevue honor our Servicemen and Servicewomen on Memorial Day!
