City of Bellevue Accepting Applications for Mayor's Youth Council

Bellevue Mayor Rusty Hike, the Bellevue Police Department and the City of Bellevue are looking for students that want to have a voice and make a difference in the future of our Community. This will be the inaugural Mayor's Youth Council and will begin this Fall semester with the goal of providing a high school students perspective on several topics and events that take place in Bellevue.

The Mayor's Youth Council is open to and will include high school students who live in Bellevue and attend either Bellevue East, Bellevue West, Bryan High School, Papillion La Vista High School and Gross High School as well as private and home school high school students. Students will be selected from all grade levels and will serve a one-year term with the ability to reapply.

If you meet these criteria and are interested in helping guide Bellevue into the future, please Click Here to access the application or talk to the School Resource Officer at your High School. The deadline for applications is September 13th and the Bellevue Youth Council will meet the second Tuesday of every month starting on October 8, 2024. Please send the completed application to roger.cox@bellevue.net by September 13, 2024
