City of Bellevue Accepting Applicants for Olde Towne Redevelopment Real Estate Broker

The City of Bellevue, under the joint directives of the City Administration and City Council, is proud to announce that it is moving forward with its plans for the redevelopment of Olde Towne as the City prepares for the relocation of City Hall to the campus on Wall Street. The City is seeking to enter into a real estate listing agreement with an experienced and innovative commercial broker to market Olde Towne and the City properties. The City is seeking creative ideas and solutions to make Olde Towne a vibrant and energetic community center. Strong consideration will be given to applicants that have prior experience in revitalizing and redeveloping downtown areas or other commercial centers.

The City of Bellevue Planning Department has prepared an Olde Towne Vision Plan which can be used as a guide for future development; however, the City will consider alternative plans which meet its redevelopment objectives.  A copy of the plan is available on the quick links section of the City’s website, www.bellevue.net.

If interested, applicants should provide a packet of information with a cover letter outlining applicant’s experience, capabilities, previous projects and capacity to successfully bring a vision and development to Olde Towne. The City will review the packets and then decide which applicants to interview. Applications will be accepted through Friday, May 13, 2016.
