The City of Bellevue's Street Department is planning to officially begin street sweeping operations city-wide, the week of April 4th. Work on thoroughfares will begin that week, followed by residential street cleaning starting the week of April 11th. Residents may notice Street Department crews out prior to April 4th taking advantage of nice weather days to make an initial pass through as many neighborhoods as possible.
The Street Department is requesting that residents take the opportunity to sweep and rake sand and debris from their walks, drives and grass areas to assist in making our operations run efficiently. All sand should be left in the street, at the curb. Please do not collect materials in piles.
