The Bellevue Public Works Department has announced that Cedar Island Road will be closed to all through traffic starting at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 5th, 2023. Cedar Island Road will be completely closed to all traffic between Greene Avenue and Chandler Road. Local traffic will be able to access businesses and residences along Cedar Island Road up to Greenfield Road outside of the primary work zone. Through traffic is advised to utilize 36th Street or 25th Street as an alternate route.
The purpose of this closure is to allow the contractor to safely remove and replace the return of Cedar Island Road at Chandler Road.
Please allow up to 7 days afterwards for the repair to be completed and cured barring any unforeseen delays such as weather.
