Bellevue Public Works Department Announces Capehart Rd from 36th to 33rd St will be Closed Starting on Monday, October 21st

The City of Bellevue Public Works Department has announced that beginning approximately 9:00 am next Monday, October 21st, Capehart Rd from 36th to 33rd St will be closed.  Metropolitan Utilities District (MUD) will be continuing its utility relocation work in preparation of the 36th Street widening project.

A map of the closure area is included within this article.  Depending on the weather, the anticipated duration for the closure is 5 days with the roadway expected to reopen by the end of the day on Friday, October 25th.  The recommended detour routes are along 36th Street, 25th Street, Hwy 370 and Schneekloth Road.

As with all roadway/utility construction activities, this work may cause an inconvenience to you.  The public is asked to have patience and not to move or otherwise tamper with barricades or other warning devices.  They are the primary mechanism for identifying potentially unsafe conditions.
