Bellevue Public Works Department Announces Capehart Rd from 36th to 33rd St will be Closed Starting on Monday, July 29th

The City of Bellevue Public Works Department has announced that beginning next Monday, July 29th Capehart Rd from 36th to 33rd St will be closed.  Metropolitan Utilities District (MUD) will be relocating and replacing water and gas mains in preparation of the 36th Street widening project.

Anticipated duration for the closure is 6-8 weeks with the recommended detour routes as 36th Street, 25th Street, Hwy 370 and Schneekloth Road. A map of the area is included within this article.

As with all roadway/utility construction activities, this work may cause an inconvenience to you.  The public is asked not to move or otherwise tamper with barricades or other warning devices.  They are the primary mechanism for identifying potentially unsafe conditions.”
