At Monday night's City Council Meeting, Bellevue Mayor Rita Sanders and Councilwoman Carol Blood presented a proclamation to the Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court 2036 from the St. Mary's Parish which declared October 2015 as White ribbon Against Pornography Month in the City of Bellevue. Mayor Sanders and the Bellevue City Council encourage all citizens to wear or display white ribbons as a sign of their commitment to community standards of decency. The Catholics Daughters have created a website www.realmendontexploit.com which offers resources for those who have a loved one with a porn addiction or for anyone who wants to learn more about the fight against these materials as well as support the enforcement of obscenity laws!
