Happy 4th of July from the City of Bellevue! City Offices and the Bellevue Public Library will be closed on Thursday, July 4th in observance of the Holiday. As always, the City of Bellevue's Police and Fire Departments will continue to operate 24 hours a day during this time. If you have an emergency, please call 911!

Although the Missouri River water levels are receding, the City of Bellevue, Offutt AFB, the Army Corps of Engineers, and the Papio-Missouri Natural Resource District (NRD) will continue to monitor the water levels and the status of the levee system throughout the weekend.
The City of Bellevue and the Bellevue Police Department strongly encourage all residents to be safe and respectful of your neighbors and pets during the next few days!! Please read this important information:
- The Bellevue City Code allows for fireworks approved by the State of Nebraska to be sold and set off June 25th through July 3rd only between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. and on July 4th from 8:00 a.m. to midnight.
- Any debris caused by the discharge of fireworks MUST BE properly disposed of by the user.
If you have a noise complaint about fireworks, please use Sarpy County's non-emergency number: 402-593-4111. Calling 911 for non-emergency reasons could delay an emergency call from getting through.
