City of Bellevue to Hold Community Development Block Grant Public Hearing on Thursday, March 21st

Meeting to Discuss Priorities and Goals for Bellevue's CDBG Program

The City of Bellevue's Community Development Block Grant Program Specialist, Abby Highland, is looking forward to hearing goals and ideas from Bellevue residents and organizations at the CDBG Public Hearing on Thursday, March 21st at 6:00pm. This is a reminder that the City of Bellevue will be hosting a community meeting to present the proposed priorities and goals outlined in 2024-2028 Consolidated Plan and begin the planning and development of the annual action plan.  Discussion will include grant eligibility requirements, timeline for funding, and available of the 2024 CDBG application packet.  A flyer for the meeting is available here.

The City of Bellevue is a recipient of CDBG funding and is required by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development to prepare and adopt a Consolidated Plan and Annual Action Plan for submittal before August 15, 2024. At least 70% of these funds must benefit low-and-moderate-income residents or neighborhoods within our community. the City of Bellevue actively encourages all residents or interested parties to become involved in the development of these plans through participation in the planning process or by submittng an application for funding.

The meeting will be held Thursday, March 21st, at 6:00 p.m. in Bellevue City Council Chambers.
