The City of Bellevue Permits & Inspections Department has announced that their office hours will return to their regular 8:00am to 4:30pm hours of operation, effective as of today, Monday, December 2, 2024.
Due to the high volume of permits that were coming in following a series of storms this summer, the Permits and Inspections front counter had been closed to the public between the hours of 8:00am and 10:00am daily to allow Permits & Inspection staff the opportunity to use the first two hours of every day to catch up with the unprecedented workload that had existed for many months. Thanks to the efforts of this dedicated team, along with some temporary help that was brought in to assist, the workload has become more manageable, and the Department will return to its regular hours.
