The City of Bellevue is sending certified mail letters to all residents whose dwellings are unsafe or unfit for human occupancy due to the damage it received from the flood waters and the contaminates in those flood waters.
Should you receive a certified mail letter that your dwelling has been deemed uninhabitable and may require demolition due to the damage the dwelling received from the flood, it is the responsibility of the owner to present a path forward with the direction you intend to take to correct the issue to the Bellevue Permits Department for review within 10 days of receipt of the certified letter.
All manufactured, modular and mobile homes located in Paradise Park and Green Acres damaged as a result of the flood have been deemed uninhabitable and their factory certifications are no longer valid. Therefore, without a current valid certification these homes must be removed.
