The Bellevue Public Works Department has been informed that a contractor working on behalf of Fastwyre will need to close sections of 36th Street between Giles Road and Chandler Road in the northbound direction beginning next week. Beginning Monday, March 27th at 9:00 a.m., northbound 36th Street between Giles Road and Suburban Drive will be closed, and through traffic detoured as shown on the attached first graphic. Southbound traffic will not be restricted. The detour will be removed and northbound traffic restored no later than 3:00 p.m. This work is expected to take 3 days to complete, working 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. each day.
Once the first section is complete the contractor will close northbound 36th Street between Suburban Drive and Chandler Road. Traffic will be detoured as shown on the attached second graphic. This work is also expected to require 3 days to complete, working 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. each day.
