The Bellevue Fire Department offers Tot Finder and Pet Finder stickers free of charge to residents of Bellevue. The Tot Finder stickers are designed to help alert firefighters to the location of a child’s bedroom in the event of a fire. The stickers are placed inside the home at the bottom of the child’s door facing into the hallway. The stickers are made of highly reflective material and the back has a special adhesive so they can be removed easily when the child no longer occupies the room.

The Pet Finder stickers are static window clings that can be placed on the inside of any window or storm door facing outside. This alerts the firefighters that there are pets inside the home.

Again, these stickers are provided free of charge and can be requested by calling the Fire Prevention/Public Safety Coordinator at (402) 917-2533 or e-mailing him at brian.koontz@bellevue.net.
